Twelve of us did a two day Stay and Play at Old Silo last weekend and couldn't be more pleased and impressed. From tee to green, the course conditions were suburb, the staff tok care of us. We stayed at the Fairfield (walking distance) and ate all of our meals at Old Silo. Friday night they had live music and a cookout. All things positive here and the price was right.

At one time this course was well maintained and a good value. The course was sold and the new owners do not want to spend any money to maintain the course and the bunkers have been marked as ground under repair and unplayable the entire spring and now summer. The staff is less than friendly and the place has really took a nose dive. I would not recommend this course for a golf trip.

The course was very wet when we played and the bunkers were full of water. However, except for the wet bunkers, the course condition and layout made for an enjoyable afternoon at a reasonable price.
